Eastern Europe is dotted with communist monuments and memorials.
For over four decades after the Second World War, they stood as the architectural pride of socialist nations, serving as cultural hubs, meeting points, and educational centers.
Yet, since 1989, they have fallen into oblivion.

In this cinematic journey into the future of architecture and monuments tied to the communist and socialist legacy, our goal is to unveil the multiple identity layers surrounding these structures. Hailing from Croatia, a nation of the former Yugoslavia, this documentary is also a personal odyssey into the heart of collective memory and cultural resonance.
